1. Open a photo or picture that you want to manipulate. Use the single column marquee tool (
) to make a 1 pixel wide selection.
2. Next goto edit > copy merged. Now goto edit > paste . This will provide you with the stretch on a new layer, which is then easier to move/change later.
3. Now press ctrl + t to free transform the shape. Move the cursor over one of central the nodes (little squares), then press and hold the left mouse button, and move it to the far righ tor left.
Trendy pixel stretch complete. Looks good in wallpapers (I used it in my red shift wallpaper), or is useful in crudely extending photographs on the sides. Another useful one to know!
