Sticky Tape


A real simple way of getting your images to have sticky tape over them

1. Open your image, in this example we used Miss Britney Spears, and framed it before hand.

2. Create a new layer, by clicking Layer > New > Layer - call this tape

3. Grab the polygon lasso tool, and draw a sloping rectangle

4. Fill this with white

5. Hold CTRL and press D to deselect

6. Right click the layer named tape, and give it the following settings to outerglow -:

7. After clicking OK Zoom right into the thinner edge of the sticky tape, and grab the polygon lasso tool

8. Cut a selection that makes the tape have a jagged edge effect -

9. Hit delete to delete the selection

10. Repeat this process for the opposite end

11. On the layers palate, set the blending options to overlay, and the opacity to 24%
