2. First change the color of your text to a nice color! In my case, I changed it to (#00A4FF)
Now we are going to make some light.
Hold (ctrl) and click on ur type layer to select the whole thing.
Create a new layer still selecting the whole text.
Now select the eliptical marquee tool and hold (alt) while drawing a
nice circle over some of the text.
Now you will be selecting only some of the shape.

Go to select - modify - contract and contract by 1 or 2 pixels depending on the size of your text. .
In the layer you created, fill this with (#92D8FF). Remember that the size of these images are only 50%!

4. Now that you have added some depth to your text, we're going to give it a 3d proggy-like 3d style.
Now, insert a layer below the top layer. Click on the top layer, and press (ctrl+e).
DO NOT MERGE THE Background LAYER!!!

Now, while holding (ctrl+alt), press up, left, up, left, up, left until you have a nice 3d effect.
Now, merge all the layers you have except the one at the far top.
You should now have 2 layers.

5. Now click on your lower layer, and go to layer styles - color overlay - and use 50% opacity and black as a color (#000000).
Now merge all your layers except the bg layer.

6. Now we are to make that tight looking metal effect.
Play around a lot, and remember your image will probably look a lot better if you use a bigger size.
To do this, select the whole layer, go to channels and create a new channel. Glaussian blurr it by first 10, then 5, 2,5 then 1.
Go to layers palette, click the layer and go to filter - render - lightning effects.

Now you are pretty much done! PLay around with the lightning, add a background or whatever, and you're pretty much done...!
