Start by creating a new file. Use standard banner size 468X60 pixels.
Open a relevant image. Place it on the left side of the banner.
Using marquee tool draw a rectangular selection covering most of the banner.
Press Ctrl+Shift+I to invert the selection. Fill it with the border color of your choice.
Using custom shape tool add some interesting background shapes.
Type the web site name near the bottom.
Type "Adventure Sports" in a bold and prominent font.
Duplicate this layer several times and change the font and color in each layer keeping the text same.
Create a new layer and fill it with white color. Place it on top of all layers.
Open animation window. Select first frame. In layer window hide the white layer along with all other "Adventure Sports" text layers except one.
Duplicate the frame. In layer window hide the previously unhidden text layer and unhide any other text layer with different color and font, that was hidden in the previous step.
Duplicate the frame and proceed by repeating the previous step by selecting different font layers sequentially.
Select 4th and 8th frame and unhide the white layer. This will add an interesting light flash effect at regular intervals.
Press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S to save an optimize animated GIF using following settings.
