Engrave in Metal


1. Make a new picture (CTRL+N) i used the format 477x250 pixels.

2. Press 'D' to reset the colors

3. Click on Filter > Noise > Add Noise, set Amount to 400, set Distrubution to Gaussian and check the Monochromatic checkbox, OK.

4. Click on Filter > Blur > Motion Blur, set Angle to 45 and Distance to 999, OK.

5. Make a text, write whatever you want.

6. Press CTRL+T, hold down shift and click outside the 'box'. Drag it around and rotate it 45 degrees. Your image should now look something like the image below.

7. Doubleclick on the text-layer to see the blending options of the layer.

8. Click on 'Inner Shadow' set Angle to -165 and set Distance to 2.

9. Click on 'Color Overlay' click on the colorbox and select a dark-grey color for your text.
