Eroded Text


1. Make a new document, 300 wide by 100 high, then select the type tool, and write what you want.

2. Right click on the text layer and select Rasterize layer.

3. Change the background colour on the toolbar to white. Now goto filter > distort > diffuse glow. Set the Graininess to 10, Glow amount to 10 and Clear amount to 20.

4. Now set the background colour on the toolbar to the background colour of your document. Now run the filter > distort > ocean ripple filter. Set the ripple size to 9 and ripple magnitude to 6. The larger the ripple size the larger the areas of "erosion", and the larger the magnitude the more frequent the erosion occurs.
