Glowing Text

1. Start off by making a new file with black background and type some white text, you may use any font you like, I picked Horrendous, 36 pts

2. Now go ahead and duplicate your text layer by dragging it to the new layer icon , then select the duplicated layer and rasterize it.

Now go to Filters>Blur>Guassian Blur and enter 5 for the value, click OK. Then duplicate the layer you just blurred twice. You should now have 3 blurred layers below your original text layer that should create glowing effect as illustrated above.

3. Make a new layer above your other layers and using the airbrush tool with the diameter of 65 and pressure of 65% paint a circle above your text, make it look something like the one on the picture. After you're done painting one circle, duplicate it so and move it over the other side of the text.
