Golden Font

1. Today we want to create some cool own letters. I use Photoshop 7.

2. Create a new document 500 to 500 pixel. Create a new layer above the background-layer.

3. Take the freeform pen Tool and draw a B or something else. I used a B.

4. After that define a master diameter of the Brush Tool of 21. Foreground FFCC66.

5. Now take the Convert Point Tool and make some smooth curves onto your path.

6. Now make a right click onto your path and choose stroke path. Simulate Press checked (Only PS7).

7. Delete the path. Click o the B Layer while holding down CTRL to get the selection. Go to the Channels palette and create a new channel. Fill the selection with white.

8. Go to Filter-Blur and Gaussian Blur your B with about 5.

9. Go back to the Layers Palette while keeping up the selection.

10. Go to Filter-Render-Lightning Effects and choose Texture Layer Alpha 1.

11. Ready. This technique can applied in very many variations. Have fun.
