Metallic Text


Ashort tutorial on how to produce a text effect that look metallic.

1. Open a new document in Adobe, with a white background.

2. Size it about 200x100.

3. Choose your font, colour and type out your word or words.

4. Then 'right click' on the layer with the text on and goto 'Blending Options'.

5. Then tick 'bevel and emboss'.

6. Then click 'Satin' and change the colour to a darkish grey.

7. Then click 'Stroke' and change the size to 1 and the colour to a light grey.

8. Then filter --- sketch --- chrome.
