Spooky Text


Final Result:

1. Open up a new document.

2. Make sure your colors are set to default by pressing D. Then fill the document with black by pressing Ctrl + Backspace.

3. Pull out your Horizontal Type Tool and make your text what ever you want, but make it White text.

4. Apply an Outer Glow with Default Settings with the Blending Options. Set the layer blending to Overlay.

It will now look like this.

Not that scary, but if you want to, you can either stop here, or continue on to the real thing.

Now to give that glow a scarier look.

5. Create a new Levels Adjustment Layer.

Apply the following settings.

6. Now, duplicate this adjustment layer TWICE.

7. Now, create a new Brightness/Contrast Adjustment Layer.

Apply the following settings.

And your done! Your results should look like this.
