Techno' Text Effect


This is a simple tutorial for beginners to know how to make a simple techno text.

1. Open a new document, 300 x 150, or whatever size you want.

2. Fill with black

3. Type whatever you want in white. Duplicate layers

4. Merge 1 st text layer with background.

5. Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur. Then Filter> Stylize> Solarize

6. OK now important step. Filter> Stylize> Wind twice from the left, Twice from the Right.

7. Rotate Canvas 90 degrees CW. Filter> Wind ONCE from left, once from left. Got that?

8. Now, rotate canvas 90 degrees CCW.

9. Change your second text layer (the duplicated layer)'s mode to Difference.

10. Flatten image.

11. Ctrl+u and choose your favourite colour

Tip: Use a less curvy txt. Avoid Monotype Corsiva, Typo Upright etc.
