Text Warping

Ok, start off by doing all of your brushing, coloring, etc.

Then, when you come to the text part of your sig, apply this tutorial. Ok. Start by selecting the text tool from the tool bar. Now type in what you want the warped text to say. Here's mine:

Ok now click on the icon that has at with a bendy arrow under it, this button looks like this:

And you can find it up in the top tool bar when you have the text tool selected in photoshop CS2 It's the 5th button in from the left. OK, well once you press that you'll get a screen that looks like this:

Now, you may choose which ever style you want. But for this tutorial I'm going to use the "arch" style. Here's what I get once I apply the arch style, unmodified.

Now that's a little much of a bend so I'm going to decrease the bend to about 20. Here's the text so far:

Well now that, that's done you can now do more if you choose, if your happy with just then that's fine, but continue reading if you wish to know more about text warping...

Ok...Here's where we get to the tricky stuff...Once you've done what you want, color wise, to your text go to layer>rasterize>layer. Your layer will now be set as if it were a normal layer. No, go to edit>free transform. Hold Shift+Ctrl and play around with the little boxes bi clicking and holding then dragging in different directions. Find a position you think it looks good an and release all the buttons. Here's mine after applying all the steps.

So there you have it, feel free to use this as you see fit, I advise using this for photo manipulations especially.
