Here is another photoshop web 2.0 style graphic tutorial.
This is what we will be doing ...now that is a clean floor. This one I tried something new - I don't always like the way tutorials are written out - they can get boring and not easy to follow. So I am not going to talk much...
Here is the process:
1. Type text.
2. Duplicate layer.
3. Duplicated.
4. Rename initial layer "reflection".
5. While on reflection layer - hit Ctrl+T.
6. In properties dialogue on top of screen - in the H coordinate type (minus) -100% - then hit Enter.
7. You have this:
8. Hit Shift + the down arrow key (Shift is to make it go faster - nor necessary) and bring it down to about here.
9. Reflection layer selected - at bottom of layer panel hit "layer mask".
10. Select the mask.
11. Select the gradient tool send go to stage and hold down on mouse and drag upward from the bottom the upside down text towards the top.
It should look like this in your layers panel:
It should look like this on your stage:
Add layer above the background layer. Take the square marquee tool and drag a square selection that cross through the main text like this:
Select the gradient tool and go to stage and hold down on mouse and drag downward from the above the text to just below it. You should see this:
And how can i forget the free psd with all layers intact... and free for use and reuse ... until you cant stand it no more!
