Twirl Neon Text Effect

Well, in this tutorial you will learn how to make some cool effect with your text. I called it Twirl Neon Text Effect, hope you will like it:

Create a new file 200X100 with a black background

Type your text with white font

Merge down the text layer into the background (hit ctrl+E)

Go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 1.2 pixels

Apply solorize effect: Filter >> Stylize >> Solarize.

Hit ctrl+shift+L to apply auto levels

Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose "polar to rectangular"

Then apply Filter >> Stylize >> Wind >> from right.

Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose "rectangular to polar"

Go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue/Satursation check the colorize box to put some color in it as I did

Hit ctrl+shift+L to apply auto levels

Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose "polar to rectangular"

Then apply Filter >> Stylize >> Wind >> from left this time.

Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose "rectangular to polar"

Use the auto levels + Hue/Satursation to find exactly what you want !!
