Water Drip Text Effect


Step 1:

Let's start out by creating a new file. I used a 500x200 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with black. Now make a new layer set and name it 'Water Drip Text Design'.

Select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Arial, bold, 72 pt, strong and black color shade. Now create a new text layer then type your name.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Outer Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your black text layer. Then set the text layer's blending mode to Darken.

Step 3:

In a new text layer type your name again with #008470 color shade, position it as shown below.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Outer Glow, Inner Glow and Stroke blending options to your green shade text layer.

Step 5:

Duplicate your 'Water Drip Text Design' layer set then go to Layer > Merge Layer Set, the layer set should turn into a regular layer. Now go to Filter > Artistic > Plastic Wrap, apply the settings below to the duplicated text design layer. Then set the layer's blending mode to Darken.
