Fire Background

Step 1. Open a new document. I used 300x150. It does not make a difference.

Step 2. Get your paint bucket tool and fill the background white then select black for your foreground color, and find some decent brushes, deviant is a great place!

Step 3. Now you have your brushes, paint on the image with your brushes till you get something which you like.

Step 4. Go to layer > New adjustment layer > Color Balance. Shadows then use these settings.

Color Balance #1
Tone Balance: Shadows
Color Levels: +35 - 0 - -30

Color Balance #2
Tone Balance: Midtones
Color Levels: +36 - 0 - -46

Color Balance #3
Tone Balance: Highlights
Color Levels: +57 - 0 - -100

Step 5. Then... Then nothing. That's it, if you have done it right here's something it should look like. This background is awesome to use on nearly any type of sig. It really looks awesome! I hope yours looked like this if not please ask questions.
