In part 3 of my texturising-tutorial, I will teach you how to make a texture dissolve into another texture. Because you can't build an object or a world with just one texture and bad edges. In this tutorial I will teach you how to connect 2 different textures!

Textures 3# Dissolves

Part 3 of the texturising-tutorial: In this part: Make a texture fade into a different texture!

Step 1

For this tutorial, I made an extra texture: The tarmac-stone.

We will need a document of 384x128.

Place one of the textures in the left corner and in the middle, and the other in the right corner and the middle;

Step 2

Since this is a stone, we need to break it apart but cutting of some pieces with a desired tool;

Step 3

To make it realistic, add a drop-shadow!

Step 8

And after that, turn on the grid and grab your texture out of there by merging all layers and cropping the selection!
