88x31 Affiliates Banner

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make an attractive affiliate banner.

Open up photoshop and create a new document with the following settings:

Width:88 pixels
Height:31 pixels
Resolution:72 pixels/inch
Mode:RGB Color
Contents:White

Now make a new layer and fill it with any color. Im going to use #CECECE.
Heres what we have so far:

Make another layer and press B to select your brush tool. Choose a color thats darker than your backround. Im using #848586. Just experiment using different brushes and sizes. I came up with this:

Now its time to add text. Press T to select your text tool and use the following settings:
Font: 04b03b (Download Here)
Size:8pt
AA: None
Color: Anything you want, ill use #7B7B7B

This is what we have so far:

Were almost finished! All we have to do now is add a 1 pixel border.
Make a new layer and hit Ctrl+A to select all. now go to Edit->Stroke and apply these settings:

Thats it! your done. This is my final result:
