Introduction
With this tutorial you will be able to make great 468x60 Advertising
Banners! |
Step 1
Open up a large wallpaper, or get one from here.
Select your Rectangle Marquee Tool and make a fixed size of 466x58, and
copy. This is so we can add a stroke to it in an easier way. As you can
see I have used a different wallpaper: |
Step 2
Now make a new document 468x60 pixels and paste. You should now
have the image you copied in the centre with a 1px size on every side. Now
select your banner image and go to {Layer » Layer Style » Blending
Options » Stroke} and make the background black and stroke line 1px,
click ok. You will now see that you have an outline to your banner. Look
at the image below: |
Step 3
You can always change the Hue/Saturation of it, simply holding
down {CTRL+U}. Tick the box which says colourize and make it any colour
you want. I have changed it to a nice light blue colour: |
Step 4
Now you can add any text you would like to add! |
