Clean Professional Interface

1. Create a new layer set (aka folder) that will contain all the layers for your header

2. Make a selection of a rectangle so that it will fit unto the top portion of the website and fill with a gradient using these settings:

Colours: (or any colours scheme you wish, but one lighter and one darker)

Type:

NOTE: click the arrows in your colour boxes so that the darker of the two is on the top.

3.Fill your selection with the gradient and you should get something like this:

4. Create a new layer untop of your gradient bar. Now make a 1px Tall selection at the bottom of the rectangle, and fill it with the lighter of the two colours in your scheme.

5. Create another 1px tall selection at the bottom of the rectangle (1pixel under your line in step 4) and fill it with the darker in your scheme. The bottom of your header should look something like this:

6. Now add an outer glow to the main gradient layer with these settings:

7. Add some white text overtop of your gradient, and then add a drop shadow with these settings:

8. Finally add some smaller text underneeth, as a slogan and add the same drop shadow, but put the layers blending mode to "overlay"

9. With a dotted line and a filter>liquify if you make this clean and professional header:
