Creating an Exclusive Left Navigation Panel


Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Enable add to shape area form the top bar. Create more rectangles using rectangular shape tool.

Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select "Warp". Select "Fish" from the preset warp shape . Apply settings as shown.

Press Ctrl+T and scale down as shown.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.

Duplicate the layer several times. Scale down, rotate and place as shown.

Select all the layers and merge. Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal. Create a horizontal and vertical line using line tool.

Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool. Apply same layer style.

Create more duplicates of the side shapes and place interestingly.

Select all the layers. Press Ctrl+G to group. Duplicate the group several times and place below each other.

Select all the groups. Duplicate and merge. Squeeze it horizontally. Place as shown. Similarly place it for the other side.

Select and merge all the layers. Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown.

Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to "Color Burn".
