Net Effect

1. Open up a picture that you would like to add a net effect to.

2. Select the pencil tool with these settings ( Choose the color white as your foreground color )

3. Now create a new layer and make white lines going from the left to right. To make this quicker, make one straight white line going left to right and duplicate that layer by pressing CTRL + J and then moving that layer down once, then merging both white line layers together and repeating this step until you have half the image full of white lines.

4. Now go to Edit -> Transform -> Rotate 90 CCW then Filter -> Distort -> Shear and use these settings

If your image turns out kind of weird ( white lines all over the image ) you have to move the layer of white lines closer to the left side of your image.

5. Now with your net effect ready, place it anywhere on your image

6. This is a optional step but I recommend you do it. Select the Gradient tool and press on the "Q" key on your keyboard for a quick mask and drag from the top to bottom, or bottom to top ( a red gradient should appear ) then hit the "Q" key again and hit delete key. You can do this several times with the different layers and get an awesome result. With some detailing, this is what I came up with.
