7. Lets slap some text on this puppy, grab your text tool and put on your text... this needs to be black, and a pretty decent size.

8. Actually, now lets put on some effects like... outer glow. Click Layer > Layer style > Blending options. Now, once your on outer glow... this is your choice. I used a size of about 5 pixels, with 0078FF and the blend mode set to linear dodge

OPTIONAL: Put a glow reflection on your text.

9. Now, we are almost done.... I added some patterns (from that page, you can use diagonal scanlines and Dots 1)

The diagonal scanlines should be white and set to overlay... then you can delete some bits with a soft brush

The dots should be black and set to overlay. Delete some of these with a hard brush.

10. Now, on a new layer... fill it white and use your circular marquee tool to draw a very large oval. We will be wanting to delete the bottom bit of the highlight

11. Add a layer mask (located on the layers palate, see below)

12. Now, grab your gradient tool. Set it to foreground to background and then press D (on your keyboard) to reset your colours. Drag a gradient from the top of the image, to about 3 1/4 of the way down.

FINISHED!
