Hey hey, we are going to create a cool Rounded and Glowing Menu today, pretty easy and simple with and awesome result.
Step 1:
Make a new black Background 350x350 pixels document.
Step 2:
Now select your Ellipse Tool under the Tool's menu.
Draw 4 perfect circles, or just make one and copy it :), for this just hold Shift while you are drawing it.
Now just to keep it clean, rename each Circle layer, we are going to call them; Ball 1, Ball 2, Ball 3 and Ball 4.
Step 3:
Now it's time to add some Blending Options, Right Click on your "Ball 1" layer and select Blending Options...
Now look carefully, we are going to use Outer Glow, Bevel And Emboss, Gradient Overlay and Stroke for this particular effect.
So...
Outer Glow:
Bevel And Emboss:
Gradient Overlay:
Double Click on the Gradient and make one similar or just like ours, we are using three nice colors, starting with a white (ffffff), light purple (cba9de) and a dark purple (3d1063).
Stroke:
Step 4:
Now we are going to make the same effect with the other three balls, we just have to change the colors of the Blending Options, so now instead of repeating the whole process for each one we are going to give you the first one and you can add your creativity for the other two balls.
Watch carefully the example for the Green ball.
Outer Glow: Look at the colors
Bevel and Emboss: once again change the colors.
Gradient Overlay: Change the colors on the Gradient.
Stroke: and finally again the colors.
Now your second ball is looking Green, super easy uh?
Now just repeat the first steps for the remaining two balls, and you will get the following result, we have made an orange and a blue one.
Step 5:
Now type the text that you want to insert in every ball (button), in the following way:
We are using the "Jed the Humanoid" font, as always you can get it for free here!
We have written "Home", "About Us", "Portfolio", and "Contact" for our Rounded Glowing Text Menu.
Step 6:
Now Right Click on your "Home" text layer and select the Rasterize Type option. Now press Ctrl + T (Free Transform) and now right click your selection to transform (around your text) and choose WARP.
Now modify your "Home" word, so it will fit on the button, follow this example:
It's going to look like this, and guess what, the effect it's almost finished.
Now in your "Home" layer, select in the Blending Mode menu the option Overlay.
Your buttons it's going to look like this:
And DONE! your buttons it's finally done, now repeat the Text steps with the other three ones and you will get your Rounded And Glowing Menu.
