Stylish Corporate Layout


So let's start

Create a new document the size should be 760 x 700 px.

Select the Paint Bucket Tool and fill your background with #93a5cb

Then Download the following image because you will need it.

After you have downloaded this image open it in Photoshop.

Select Move tool and Drag this clock to your layout. place this image on the bottom right side:

This image from above has been resized ...

You will notice that this image has some sharp edges. we will try to reduce this edges to blend more with our background.

There are several ways to blend a image into another image.

Select Rectangular Marquee Tool , Change the feather to 5px:

Then Draw a selection over the clock image ( draw this rectangle inside the image )

Now press Shift+CTRL+I ( this will inverse the selection )

Then press " Delete" on your keyboard.

You have now soft edges on your image.

Press Ctrl+D ( to deselect )

Select " Rounded rectangle Tool "

Be sure you set the radius to 5 px

Then create 2 Rounded rectangles and place them like me:

Also this image is resized. i don't think you need a high resolution image yet. There are simple steps.

Now Create another document: ( we will create a pattern )

Zoom this document to 1600% and with the Pencil Tool Draw 3 points:

After that go to Edit > Define Pattern...

Choose a name for your pattern and press OK

Now let's add a layer style . Select one of this white rectangles and add the following style:

And for Gradient use this color #93a5cb

And for the Stroke we will use that pattern we have created a few steps ago:

Apply the same style also for the second Rectangle. You should have something like this:

Let's add some other details on our layout.

With your Rounded Rectangle Tool create another rectangle and place it like me:

Now Duplicate this layer ( press Ctrl+J )

Select Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a selection inside this rectangle:

Press Shift+Ctrl+I ( this will Inverse your selection )

Select Eraser Tool and with a big brush and start to erase.

You will be asked if you want to rasterize the shape. press OK

Then Press Ctrl+D to deselect.You should have something like this:

Now select " Line Tool " and draw a line with this color #5874af

We will add some text buttons on the left Rectangle.

This buttons are very simple. I will add also a few lines which will change the look of the buttons.

Create another pattern.

Create another document:

Zoom this document to 1600% and with the Pencil Tool Draw 1 point:

After that go to Edit > Define Pattern...

Choose a name for your pattern and press OK

Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Alt+N in the same time.

Then select Rectangular Marquee Tool ( be sure you have the radius set to 0 px )

And draw a rectangle like mine between text buttons.

Then select the Paint Bucket Tool

Select pattern and use the pattern we have already created ( the one with one single black square )

Then with the paint Bucket Tool press one time inside your selection

Now press Ctrl+D to deselect

Now duplicate this layer a few times and place this layers between text buttons:

You will notice that i have also some vertical points. this are done with the same method.

Now the buttons looks better but i am not still happy.

We will add another details.

Create another document 12 x 12 px with a transparent background , zoom the document to 1600 % and with your Pencil Tool draw a small arrow

Select the Move Tool and Drag this small arrow near the buttons:

Now i am quite happy with buttons. We will leave them in this way. But always is place for improvements.

We will add also another details. This you can do it alone. i will add some images and some text.

This is my final layout:
