What I will be demonstrating in this tutorial is how to crop a image. Very basic tool for you to keep in mind when working with photos. All we have to do basically is grab the main attention out of the image and display it in a more wider position.

Open a new document by pressing (Ctrl+N).
Set the Width to 600 pixels and the Height to 300 pixels.
Select the Paint Bucket Tool and fill your canvas with this color: #1e2a44
Start by opening an image of a lady with face closeup.
Press Ctrl+Shift+U to desaturate.
Select eraser tool with soft brush settings and erase the outer areas as shown.
Start by typing an alphabet. Press Ctrl+T and rotate a bit.
Duplicate the layer. Fill it with black color. Move this layer below all the layers in layer order in layer palette. Now move this layer to right a bit.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Create random shape using basic custom shape.
Select and merge all the shape layer. From "Filter" menu select "Distort>>Wave". Apply settings as shown.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply gradient settings as shown.
Duplicate the rectangle thrice. Change gradient colors in gradient overlay layer style.
The trick that we will be performing today is creating a simple slideshow with a nice fade effect included. Each time the photo switches to a different one, the old one will fade away like shown above!
