3d Boxes

1. Goto file then new and make a transparent 1024x768 image. Size should be at least 800x600.

2. Create a new layer and fill the whole image in as black. Create another layer, goto Filter up top: Filter>Render>3d Transform. You will see a blank white area. Select the little 3d square button and start making a TON of squares. Overlap them and fill up all of the area. Then, goto the icon i have selected and click and hold in.

3. Then rotate slowly and you should have something like this:

6. Do another Gaussian Blue, make it 5 or less

7. Create a rectangle like the picture below and add grids. Like this:

8. Now add any type of text you like. I`ll add my name, Mitch for it. If you dont have a similar font, find the best one that fits the picture. When you add your text, i recommend you add some effects to it like a stroke and an inner shadow. I made the stroke 1 pixel and the inner shadow degree angle should be 90 degrees if you want to make it look like mine. Here it is:

9. If you would like, you can add some minor tweaks and changes. If yours doesnt look so great give it a second try because the 3d squares arent going to look the same every time, you have to test and check a little. Also, screenshots of everything will not looks as smooth because i had to change the image size. So dont think it will be that rough. Once its your background, everything will be uber tight
