Freeform Pen Tool (Video Included)


The Freeform Pen Tool allows us to draw vector shapes and paths (shape outlines) automatically adding anchor points:
  • In the Toolbox, select the Freeform Pen Freeform Pen Tool.
  • Choose on the Options bar drawing mode: to draw vector shape layers click vector shape layers button ; to draw paths (shape outlines) click paths button.
  • Draw in image window like with a pencil.
  • Click arrow button on the Options bar to set the Curve Fit (the tool's sensitivity).
  • Option Magnetic converts the Freeform Pen Freeform Pen to Magnetic Pen Magnetic Pen, automatically clinging to edges of contrast objects* .
