Making Advanced Shapes


Step 1

Create a new document. Make the background any color. Make sure your foreground color is white. click on the "Custom Shape Tool" on your tools palette.

Step 2

New options should appear at the top. At the number of sides enter 6. click and drag anywhere on your canvas.

Step 3

A new layer should have automatically appeared on your Layers Palette. Double click this layer and click on the stroke and change the stroke color to black or #000000.

Step 4

You now have a shape. Right click the layer the shape is on and select "Duplicate Layer". Do this until you have 3 polygons. Arrange them however you like to make something "cool" or "techie". Most advanced designs are made using duplication of basic shapes like this one.
