Abstract Artsy Background


Start by applying a radial gradient to the background.

From filter menu select render>lighting effects.

Change the light style to five lights down. Use other settings as shown.

From filter menu select stylize>>find edges.

Press Ctrl+I to inverse the colors.

Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip vertical. Change the layer mode to lighten.

Merge both the layers. Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select rotate 90°cw.

Change the layer mode to linear dodge.

Duplicate the layer. From filter menu select sketch>>chrome.

Apply settings as shown.

Change the layer mode to linear dodge.

Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown.

Create a new layer on the top. Fill the layer with a light gradient.

Change the layer mode to color.

Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to overlay.

Merge all the layers. Duplicate the merged layer and press Ctrl+T. Rotate 45° from the top bar.
