1. Create a new layer, select the brush tool with a size 11 ' Hard Round Brush '

image 1

Make something like this, doesn't have to be exactly the same as mine.

image 2

2. Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur and blur for 3 pixels

Edit -> Transform -> Distort ( A selection box should appear )

image 3

Drag the bottom left box into the bottom middle of the selection

3. Now it should look something like this

image 5

Move it around somewhere on the image like what I did

Once you have selected a part, change the blending mode of the layer overlay and change the opacity to 50-70 %

4. Now its for the hard part, choose the brush tool and press on the arrow pointing down on the top left corner of photoshop. And then click the dark blue arrow pointing to the right and look for ' Faux Finish Brushes '

Scroll all the way down and look for Stencil Sponge - Dry

5. Draw something like this and select the eraser tool and set the mode as brush, opacity as 50 and erase the hard edges of the Dry brush

image 7

Edit -> Transform -> Distort and then click on the bottom left box, drag it to the bottom middle and you're done!

Select a place where you want to put this and change the blending mode into overlay

6. Once you have done it a couple of times, merge all the pieces together and duplicate it and go to Filter -> Distort -> Wave and change ' Number of Generators ' to 1

Move the duplicated layer anywhere you want

7. Create a new layer, choose the brush tool and choose any type of brush and make it Size 1

Zoom in and choose a line and do the exact same thing I did

8. Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur for 0.5 pixels

Now this is the annoying part, you can do it for each of the lines or duplicate the layer you just did with the size 1 brush and rotate it around or you can draw the dots around the lines over and over.

Once you got the dots all around the image, use the eraser tool as the brush as mode, opacity as 50% and erase some of the dots.

9. And yeah.. you're done! Keep trying to re-do all the steps for better results

Flip it, color it and do whatever - This is what I got

With more time, and more concentration this is what I made from this tutorial
