1) Make a new document, anysize doesn't matter. Press CNTRL+D to reset your pallete colors. Set your background to BLACK. This tutorial is based on my recent electricity tutorial. This tutorial shows you the advanced methods of blending and joinged the electricity together.
2) Start out with the Gradient Fill Tool with these settings:
3) Make horizontal gradients. Follow the steps below and repeat:
Keep repeating untill you get a row of gradients like:
4) Apply Color (CNTRL+U):
5) Make a new layer. We want to make lots of gradient lines using the
same settings (Difference). Get your new layer looking like:
6) Change the blending to Hard Light:
Apply these hue settings:
7) Duplicate the layer and go to Filter>Sketch>Chrome and use these settings:
8) Change the blending to Overlay:
There ya go, heres my solar electricity. I also made a larger format to
use as my wallpaper. Very attractive electricity effect.
