1. Open your image

2. Duplicate it and flip vertically

3. Add mask to the newly created layer

4. Choose gradient tool and use it with the mask of the duplicated layer

Terrible tutorial.

Simply listing the steps is not enough, you should also explain how to perform the steps. You have ranked this tutorial level as "beginner", so one must assume that the person using it is a beginner to Photoshop Elements 7 and may not know how to do the steps.
