Portal Effect


Create new file, 500 x 500 is ok.

1) Press X and D to reset colors.x

2) Use Filter -> Render -> Clouds.

3) Then Filter -> Pixelate -> Mezzoint -> Long Strokes.

4) Now go to Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur and use this settings: Amount: 100, Method: Zoom, Quality: Best.

5) Use Filter -> Distort -> Twirl and set 200.

6) Press CTRL + J and use Filter -> Distort -> Twirl and set -400 DONT FORGET THE "-"

7) Change Blending Mode to Lighten.

8) Ctrl E to merge down.

IT LOOKS GOOD!!! I heard it! but let it Colorize. Press Ctrl U and make sure you check Colorize.

You can stop here... or you can follow this optionals steps to make it feel like a Portal (like Startrek or Babylon5)

9) Go to Filter -> Distort -> Twirl and set it to 200

Voila... it look greats I know.
