Satin Nickel Brushed Metal Surface


1. First of all to open a new Document. Go to Menu, select File > new and then a new document will appear. In the new Document type the name of the document and then specify the size width = 300 pixel, height = 300 pixel and resolution = 96.012 pixel/inch. You can do it with the file new > then press Ctrl+N.

2. Now Create a Ellipse with the Elliptical Marquee Tool.

3. Now create a new Layer1, to create a new layer click on the icon that is shown with the red circle in the Layer window or press Shift+Ctrl+N.

4. From the Toolbar click on the foreground color plate

Choose color , and then fill the color code #8B5042 in the created shape (Ellipse) to fill the color press Alt+ Backspace.

5. Now select Filter > Artistic > select Film Grain.

6. In the Film Grain click ok at Grain = 14 / Highlight Area = 10 / Intensity = 6.

7. Now the image will look like this.

8. Now again select Filter > Blur > select Radial Blur and click ok at Amount = 75 and Blur Method = spin and Quality = Best.

9. After Radial Blur Effect the Image will look like same as shawn in the image below.

10. Now here give some effects with Dodge Tool brush size=30 / Range-Midtones / Exposure-60.

11. Create a new Layer2 from the Layer window.

12. Now here give some shade of other color with the Brush Tool, brush size-7 / Mode -Normal and Opacity-100.

13. Select Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and click ok at Amount 60 / spin / best.

14. Now to merge layer1 and Layer2 press Ctrl+E.

15. First to make a copy of the shape press Ctrl+J and then with the help of Move Tool drag the copied Layer as shown below.

16. Now select the Layer which is on the top and then press Ctrl+E, now you have merge all the Layer after that Select Filter > Artistic > select Colored pencil.

17. In the colored Pencil select Crosshatch with Stroke Length-15 / Sharpness -9 / Strength-1 and then click ok.

18. Final Image.
