Text Lines

This tutorial will show you how to add a little something to your text in just 4 easy steps.

Place your text however you wish.

Now take the Line Tool and set it to 1 px or 2 px depending on how big your text is; I used 2 px. Then hold Shift and drag a line wherever you want.

Then, take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a box on the edges of the shapes, you can do them one at a time or all at once it doesn't matter. Then go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Set it at a 0°Angle and a 20px to 35px Distance. I used 33px.

When you are done, you can spoof your text with other things like colors or other filters.

This is what I ended up with.
