Water Effect Tutorial


This i a nice water effect tutorial with you can make easily with just some filters.

1. Make a new layer in 400*400 and restore the backgroundcolors by hitting "D".

2. Go to Filter > Render > Clouds

3. Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Apply the following settings:

4. Then go to Filters > Blur > Gaussion Blur. Set the Radius to 2 pixels.

5. Now go to Filter > Sketch > Bas Relief and use this settings:

6. Then go to Filter > Sketch > Crome and apply this settings:

7. Now it's time to add some color to your water. You can choose whichever colours you like to, but I've chosen this ones. Click at Ctrl+U or just go to Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation. Here is my settings:

8. Finished! Here's my result:
