I would think that in most countries a lot of company work time is spent by employees using social media sites. That likely means a lot of productivity is being lost due to these types of sites. More and more companies are limiting the amount of time they allow employees to spend on the Internet in work time.

Do a quick search in Google for "dofollow blogs" and you will have a list of quality, high page rank blogs which do not use the nofollow tags. Next search Google for "(your topic) blog" to quickly find the related blogs to your topic. I recommend downloading the Firefox add on SeoQuake, as it allows you to see which links at blogs use the nofollow tag and which do not.
