By now you are probably thinking about what a great idea this is. And it is a great idea. Sort of.
You see, some people kind of wreck things for themselves. They have their webpage, and what does it consist of? Nothing but banners for banner exchanges! What a pointless waste. You need to have content to keep people coming back, not just pages and pages of banners.
Banner exchanges are designed to increase the traffic to your site, not to drive people away.
A good rule of thumb is to only display two banners *MAX* on each page of your site.
