1. Start out by creating a new white document. Mine is 400x400.
2. Go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds
3. Then, go to Filter -> Brush Strokes -> Ink Outlines with these settings :
4. Duplicate your layer and set the layer's blending mode to Lighten.
5. Go to Edit ->...
1. First create a new document at 500 x 500 pixels.
2. Press D to make sure your colors are set right. Then go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds. Then Filter -> Render -> Difference Clouds. Press Ctrl + F a couple times to repeat until you get something like this:
1. First open a new document, it doesn't matter what size (i recomend a big size)
2. Create a gradient (like this one)
3. Then create three lens flares, there is a 35mm flare in the upper left corner (its hard to see)
4. Next you hit Filter>Artistic>Plastic Wrap...
Step 1. Create a new image mine was 500x500 Filter > Render > Clouds.
Step 2. (repeat this step untill you like the looks of it) Filter > Render > Difference Clouds.
Step 3. Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint: medium strokes.
Step 4. Duplicate the layer.
Step 1 Create a new image, and select the gradient tool with the above settings (right below the top menus)
Step 2 Make many ultra-small diamond gradients that overlap eachother in multiple places, like above
Step 3 Find Edges . Press CTRL+F to repeat 1 time...
This tutorial creates grunge-ish type of background that can be used for many different purposes and can yeild many different results
