The features packed within this complex program are very advanced but I
wonder if I would ever need to use all these features. Ulead GIF
Animator can be frustrating for a first time user as the program is
hard to use.
The installation was very quick, but the size of the download (10mb) can be hell for 56k users.
Two of the biggest drawbacks with this product is the ease of use and the
fact that its only a 15 Day Free Trial. The product takes a while to
get use to and has so many functions which make it harder to use.
You are given the full evaluated version, but the only drawbacks is the
fact that an ad is placed in the screen (a small window) which prompts
the user to buy the product - this is very annoying in my opinion as it
is very distracting and also it is impossible to close the window.
The product takes a while to get use to, and when you have finally
learnt how to use it you can create amazing results however by the time
that happens is when 15 Free Day trial has runs out.
The full version sells for the price of $40 which is a good price as I haven't yet found a better animator program.
Overall I think this product is worth a try, but a bit of background
knowledge in programs like this would be helpful. However Ulead have
made this easier to use by providing links to thier online tutorials -
I found these tutorials very easy to use.
