Black and White With A Color Kicker!


Haven't you ever seen an image like like and go, "Hey, now that's kinda cool...". Well, have no fear! for only $19.95 you can learn how. Act now, and we'll take $19.95 off the purchase price! O.K. now that the random stupidity is out of me, lets get to work. First, right click and "Save As" this picture:

Next, load PhotoShop (I'm hoping you don't need a screenshot for that). Load that pic into PhotoShop.

Now that the boring stuff is over, lets have some fun! First you need to make a Duplicate Layer of this image. Then just click O.K.

After you've done that, all you have to do is go to the layer properties, and set the Duplicate Layer at Luminosity.

Now, hide the Duplicate Layer.

Then, take the Paint Brush Tool (Make sure the color is set at black (#000000)) and start painting what you DON'T WANT to be in color. Make sure you are coloring in the original layer.

Unhide the Duplicate Layer, just to see your work. it should look something like this:

Now, hide the Duplicate Layer, and continue blacking the pic in, only leaving key elements un touched. Make the brush size smaller, zoom in, and get as close as possible to the color you do want. After about 10 min, you'll have the finished product:
