Color correction

In this simple tut I am going to show you how to use the Levels option in photoshop to correct the color in images. So lets get straight to work. First open up the image that you want to correct the color of.

Now go to Image > Adjustments > Levels (ctrl+L or apple+L on macs). Here's what should come up-

Now let me explain what the eyedroppers do -

image 3 - Click on a part of the image you feel should be black using this tool. (in my picture I clicked on the tourist's shorts)

image 4 - Click on a part of the image that you feel should be white (in my picture I clicked on the tourist's t-shirt)

image 5 - Click on a part of the image that you feel should be grey (I think in my image I clicked on a shadow... not sure though :S )

After doing this my image has already shown a great improvement in color from the original -

Now to add a little extra, go to Image > Adjustments > Shadow/highlight. Move the sliders around till you think your image looks better. The slider settings will usually be different for each image so experiment. My finished image (clearly an improvement from the original)-
