Paint Job


Grab the image that you wish to manipulate and we will begin to select the color in the image that we will change. Grab the "Magic Wand" and begin to select. You may have to adjust the "Tolerance" found in the "Options Bar" either up or down. I set mine at 20 and worked it down to 5 as I went along. A couple shortcuts that will benifit you as you make your selections:

- the "Shift" key = adding more selections to an already selected area.

- the "Alt" key = subtracting a selection that you want to get rid of.

* remember...if you make a mistake... "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Z" on your keyboard will undo one error.

After you have the body selected go ahead and duplicate the layer and then invert the selection "Ctrl", "Shift" and "I". Once inverted you can hit the "delete" key to rid the unwanted area.

Now hit the "Ctrl" + "D" on your keyboard to deselect. With the bottom layer hidden, this is what it would look like. The body is now ready to be painted. Let's commence, shall we...

Go to the main menu and click on "Image" then select "Adjustments", next click "Hue/Saturation". and their you have it folks. Peice of cake.
