Changing Texture/Pattern of a Jacket


Start by opening an image of man wearing jacket.

Create selection of the jacket using polygon lasso tool. Press Alt+Ctrl+D to feather the selection. Feather the selection by 3 pixels.

Press Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in a new layer. Double click the layer to open layer style window.

Select pattern overlay palette. Click on the "small down arrow" in pattern window to open default patterns. Now click on the right arrow to select "Rock Patterns". Choose the pattern as shown.

Apply settings as shown.

Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. Press Q to enable quick mask.

From "Filter" menu select "Texture>>Stained Glass ". Apply settings as shown.

Press "Q" again to disable quick mask.

Create a new layer and fill it with a shade of blue color.

Change the layer mode to "Color Dodge" and opacity to 40%.
