Create a Painting Effect in Photoshop

Today i will tell you a way to turn your photo into a nice painting in photoshop.



1. After opening your pic, Ctrl+Shift+U to desarature it. Then Ctrl+J to duplicate it. The pici use here:


2. Ctrl+I to invert your picture. Go to Filter-Other-Minimum, set value=2. Then set this layer to Color Doge 100percents . Right click on this layer, choose underlying layer: hold the Alt key, drag mouse to get the value:



3. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E to have a new layer. Choose Filter-Blur_Smart blur:



4. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E. Choose Filter-Brush strokes-Dark strokes:



Then eraser the face, avoiding the edge .



5. Now it looks pretty well but i want it to look like painting more. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E. Then choose Filter Stylize Find edges. Then right click on this layer, choose blending options:
