Cross Processing Color Tutorial: Final Result

Find your image and let's get started.

Step 1: Go to Layer > New adjustment layer > Curves, and apply these curves to your:

red channel:

blue channel:

green channel:

Step 2: Change the layer mode to 'color'

Step 3: Now add another Curve adjustment layer (Layer > New adjustment layer > Curves) and apply this curve to the RGB channels and change the layer mode to 'Luminosity'

Step 4: Add a solid color layer (layer > New fill layer > Solid color), and insert R=228 G=255 B=0. Change the layer mode to Linear Burn or Multiply.

Step 5: Desaturate the image by applying Layer > New adjustment layer > Hue/saturation and insert -40 into saturation box.

Step 6: Add more contrast to your image with Curve adjustment layer (Layer > New adjustment layer > Curves) and apply this curve to the RGB channels

Step 7: Now I'm going to apply burning technique to the image by adding a new layer, and applying radial gradient then change the layer mode to 'Linear Burn' and play around with the opacity Please visit our Easy Burn Technique with Photoshop tutorial for more information.

Step 8: This is how I did the soft-effect to the image. Duplicate the background layer, apply gaussian blur (mine is 8.0), add a layer mask and apply radial gradient with black is your foreground color and white is your background color
