Morphing / Blending images

I was working with photoshop and made a beautiful effect, but I do'nt know how to name it:

1.Open 2 images. I selected Eagle & Palm tree from photoshop samples folder.

2.Select magic wand tool and set Tolerance to 32 and click on background of eagles’s

Now press Ctrl+Shift+I to inverse selection. Then copy the image selected and paste it into palm tree background.

3.Create a new layer and insert it below of last two layers and fill it with white.

4.Hold down “Ctrl” key and click on eagle’s layer to be selected.after selection go to Select>Modify>Expand and insert 20 px for Expand by.You see the selection area is expanded. Now go to Select>Feather and insert 30 px for feather radius.

5.Finally Select plam tree layer and click on “Add layer mask”in bottom of layer’s panel.
