Final Image

As always, this is the final image we'll be creating:

Step 1

Create a new file with a width of 2500px and a height of 4000 px at 300 dpi (Dots per Inch). Background Contents should be White.

Step 2

To start off we'll use various textures to create a subtle distress background. First, add a group folder called "Texture", then open Urban Texture Pack- from these fudgegraphics . Place this within the folder, then hit Command/Ctrl + T and resize to cover the canvas. Name the layer "Texture 1?.

Once again activate Transform tool (Ctrl/Cmd+T) and rotate the encircled squares in the direction of the girl arrow..

Now again activate transform tool as see below:

Step 3

First off, let's open the Foggy Forest 2-Banana-Workshop in Photoshop. We will be using the Foggy Forests from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the foggy forest and press M to Rectungular marquee tool and then make a selection around the forest and then click V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas

Now open Gaussian blur

When the Gaussian blur box opens, input the following:.

Now change layer mode to "overlay"

Step 4

Now Make a duplicate (Ctrl+j) .

Now again change layer mode to "overlay" and the opacity to 35%

img

Step 5

Now,let's open the Cracked Wall Texture 001 in Photoshop. We will be using the texture from this Jaydias stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Now Add layer mask to the crack layer

Now Again choose a brush and erase the highlighted area.

The result should be similar to this:

change the layer mode to "overlay" and opacity to 100% ..

When the Brightness/Contrast box opens, input the following:

Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's to make a mask..

The result should be similar to this:

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (crack layer and Curves) to make a mask.

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Now create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Crack layer and Hue/Saturation) to make a mask.

When the Hue/Saturation box opens, input the following:

Add more cracks to your wall .

Step 6

Now create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .

When the Hue/Saturation box opens, input the following:

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Step 7

Now lets add some light to our image.So Activate a new layer and name it "Light"

Now activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :

Brush size: 800px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #FFFFFF

Now paint over the highlighted area.

girluce the opacity to 25% .

Step 8

Activate a new layer and name it "Dark"

Again activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :

Brush size: 400px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Step 9

First off, let's open the Collab Stock: Sakky Attack 2 in Photoshop. We will be using the girl from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the Collab Stock: Sakky Attack 2 and press p to activate Pen tool tool and then make a selection around the girl and then click V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "girl".

Next, activate the Transform tool (Ctrl/Cmd +T), then while the "girl" layer is selected and then resize it as shown below:

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Girl layer and Curves) to make a mask.

Now create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Girls layer and Hue/Saturation) to make a mask.

When the Hue/Saturation box opens, input the following:

Now create new Gradient map adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Girls layer and Gradient map) to make a mask.

When the Gradient map box opens, input the following:

Change it's layer mode to "Soft light" :

Now let's remove these tattoos from her body.So activate Stamp clone tool press atl and click on the highlighted area and start removing those tattoos.

Step 10

Now,let's open the under water image in Photoshop. We will be using the Water image from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the under water image then activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "Water back".

Change the Opacity to "30? :

Add vector mask.

Again activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :

Brush size: 400px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Now create new Color Balance adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Girl layer and Color Balance) to make a mask.

When the Color Balance box opens, input the following:

Activate Color Balance vector mask .

Then activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :

Brush size: 300px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Step 11

Now,let's open the Moss on concrete in Photoshop. We will be using the Grass from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Now go to Select > color range.When the color range box opens, input the following:

Press V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "Grass".

Then activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :

Brush size: 300px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Now Change it's layer mode to "Overlay" :

Now create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Grass layer and Hue/Saturation) to make a mask.

When the Hue/Saturation box opens, input the following:

Step 12

Now,let's open the under water image in Photoshop. We will be using the water image from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the under water image and press V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "water front".

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (water front layer and Curves) to make a mask.

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Step 13

Now,let's open the Water splash stock in Photoshop. We will be using the water from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the Water splash stock and press V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "Water top".

Activate magic wand tool (W) and choose the white part and delete it :

Add a vector mask to our water top layer :

Erase the other white part of water image and change it's layer mode to "Soft light" .

Now create new Levels adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Water top layer and Levels) to make a mask.

When the Levels box opens, input the following:

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Water top layer and Curves) to make a mask.

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Now create new Color Balance adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Water top layer and Color Balance) to make a mask.

When the Color Balance box opens, input the following:

Now make some changes in it's Shadow part .

Now create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Water top layer and Hue/Saturation) to make a mask.

When the Hue/Saturation box opens, input the following:

The result should be similar to this:

Now get back to the "Water front" layer add a layer mask to it .

Now activate Brush tool (B) with these settings Now let's erase :

Brush size: 400px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Step 14

First off, let's open the stock05 st`ock in Photoshop. We will be using the Machine from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the stock05 and press p to Pen tool tool and then make a selection around the Machine and then click V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "Machine".

Next, activate the Transform tool (Ctrl/Cmd +T), then while the "Machine" layer is selected and then resize it as shown below:

Make a duplicate of machine layer (ctrl+j).

Add a Vector mask to our Machine layer :

Now activate Brush tool (B) with these settings Now let's erase :

Brush size: 100px

Hardness: 0%

Opacity: 40%

Flow: 100%

Color: #000000

Now paint over the highlighted area.

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Machine layer and Curves) to make a mask.

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Step 15

Now,let's open the pipes stock in Photoshop. We will be using the Pipes from this stock image so we will need to transfer it to our main canvas.

Click the pipes stock and then activate pen tool and make selection around the wires press V to activate the Move Tool. Left-click the image and drag the image to the main canvas and change layer name to "Pipe".

Now create new Curves adjustment layer from the bottom of layers palette .Press Alt+left click in between 2 layer's (Pipe layer and Curves) to make a mask.

When the Curves box opens, input the following:

Step 16

Now let's give our girls body a robotic look so add a new layer and name it "Robotic shape"

Now activate pen tool and draw a curve then make a right click and choose Stock path see as below :

When the Stroke path box opens, input the following:

Again make a right click with pen tool and choose "Delete path".

img

Now add Drop shadow .

When the Layer style box opens, input the following:

Add inner shadow.

img

The result should be similar to this:

Now Add more robotic shapes to our girls body

Step 17

Now, activate the Brush tool (B) and open the brush set "Lightning Bolt Brushes V1" by Andrei-Oprinca. To load them, simply, right click on our canvas through any layer and then click on the drop-down button as shown below:.

This will prompt the contextual menu to pop up and once you see that, just click on Load Brushes.

You will now be prompted to this directory: Adobe Photoshop > Presets > Brushes so make sure that you have put the brushes within this folder. Now locate the brush set and click OK. Right click on the canvas again using your Brush tool (B) and now you'll notice that you have lightning brushes.Pick #e0fcff as your forground color .

Add a new layer and name it "Lighting"

Just choose any brush from brush palette and paint on our canvas the resize it according to your requirement.

Just repeat the above process for our second wire.

Step 18

In this step, we will learn how to create a vignette which will help enhance the focus on our subject.

And today we will do it with a new technique we are not going to use Lens Correction.

First make a new layer fill it with white color and name it "Vignette".

Then goto Layer style.

When the Layer style box opens, input the following:

The result should be similar to this..

Change the layer mode to "Multiply" and opacity to 70% :

Step 19

Now let's create some depth to our image so we have to create our girls body shadow on the wall.So merge girl, machine and wire layer together (Ctrl+e)

Change it's name to shadow and make it behind girl layer then press ctrl and click on the shadow layer to make it selected see as below.

Now Fill it with black (000000) color and move it to the right because light is coming from the left .

Now go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur.

When the Gaussian blur box opens, input the following:

girluce it's opacity to "65%" .

Step 20

Now Create a new Gradient map adjustment layer from the bottom of the layers palette .

When the Gradient map adjustment layer box opens, input the following:

Change the layer mode to "Luminosity" and girluce opacity to "45% :
