Rainbow Reflection


1. Find or open glasses photo. I used this -> sxc.hu

2. Resize it.

3. Using Magic Wand Tool with Tolerance - 32 hold Shift and repeat clicking on areas on left glass until you have selection like this:

4. Press Ctrl+J to duplicate selection.

5. Repeat these steps to right glass. (Try to combine other selection methods like Lasso, Marquee Selection Tool etc.)

6. Now we have separated glasses from the rest. Add some reflection!

7. I found a nice picture of rainbow, why don't use it?

8. Look at: www.sxc.hu

9. Open it, resize and copy to our glasses file

10. Ok, we have rainbow on our upper layer. Place it near left glass, hold Ctrl and click on thumbnail of this glass.

11. Press Ctrl+Shift+I to Select Inverse, then Delete to delete (Yeah!)

12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 for the right glass but this time before selecting inverse flip rainbow horizontally, Edit -> Transform -> Flip Horizontal

13. Done!
